In June 2024, at the Craft + Commerce conference in Boise, Idaho in the USA, Pamela Slim and Charlotte Crowther met for the first time.

What began as a brief exchange quickly revealed something uncommon: a shared devotion to depth, integrity, creative practice, and the long game of meaningful expertise.

Later that year, they reunited in the UK for a full week—attending two conferences together, walking through the countryside, cooking meals, sketching ideas, and exploring the evolution of thought leadership across industries, formats, and cultures.

During that week, something clarified:

We have decided to spend a year from June, 2026 - June 2027 exploring the craft of thought leadership out loud, through talks, podcast episodes, occasional white papers and maybe even a retreat.
